Packaging and shipping
Hurst-Young Wholesale Bait, Inc. guarantees full count and live delivery of all crickets shipped. A
generous overcount is given to compensate for any small losses that may occur.
Since live delivery is part of our guarantee, we request that all shipments be accepted
regardless of their appearance. Crickets may occasionally appear to be dead upon arrival in winter
months, but will revive completely after being placed in a warm area for a couple of hours. To
insure our guarantee please inform us of any losses or damages within 24 hours of receiving the
shipment.
Please phone in all orders that are to be shipped on Saturday by 3:00 Friday afternoon.
When ordering crickets we recommend all dealers purchase only a 3 to 5 day supply of crickets at
a time. We ship most high volume distrubutors 3 to 4 times per week to keep their inventory fresh. If for some reason
crickets have to be held in their shipping boxes for an extended period of time, we recommend
adding plenty of quartered potatoes at least every other day.

Your crickets will be shipped in corrugated boxes. These boxes are constructed with screens in
two sides to provide adequate ventilation during hot summer months. During cold weather all
crickets are shipped in double wall boxes with small air holes added. Crickets are packed 500,
1000, or 1500 per box.
